Eleanore Frances

Actor & Theatre-Maker

Hello! I’m Eleanore. I’m an actor and theatre-maker, excited by theatre in all its forms. Originally from Essex, I currently spread my time between East London and the North East of England.

My creative practice focuses on the journey of the making.
My body of work spans genres, but has a focus on acting/performing, devising, dramaturgy, and creative facilitation.

As an actor and theatre-maker, I am hungry to push the boundaries of storytelling and explore the possibilities of what theatre can be. I have a particular passion for collaborative devising, sharp writing, comedy and generally being a bit silly.

Testimonials

  • Eleanore is an asset to any room she's in. She works tirelessly while still managing to bring joy and a sense of play to the work that inspires the company around her to rise to the occasion. She is cerebral as an actor, yet her characters are deeply in her body and grounded through breath. Anyone would be lucky to have her on their team.

    Director

  • I have had the pleasure of working with Eleanore multiple times and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone. As a person she is such a pleasure to have in the room: warm, giving and vulnerable. As an actor she is brave, natural and intoxicating to watch.

  • Not only is Eleanore an incredible talent, but the attitude she brings to the rehearsal room makes working with her a pleasure. A very capable actor as well as a hard working, passionate and lovely person!
